ASHI CPR Instruction
Students will master necessary skills for the administration of CPR. They
will learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide
basic life support and what to do in the case of an airway obstruction or
choking. Each participant will receive a workbook and a card valid for two
years. Students should dress comfortably and bring a self-addressed
stamped envelope to class. A minimum of 6 participants is required for
all classes.
Adult CPR (CPR for individuals over the age of 8)
Adult CPR, rescue breathing and the Heimlich Maneuver for foreign body
airway obstruction (choking) will be discussed. Each participant will have
his/her own manikin on which to practice. Approximately 2 -2.5 hours in
length.
Fee: $30 per person
Adult/Child/Infant CPR
CPR, rescue breathing and the Heimlich Maneuver (choking) for adults (over
the age of 8), children (ages1-8) and infants (less than the age of 1 or
under 20 pounds) will be discussed. Each participant will have 2 manikins
on which to practice (adult/child and infant). Approximately 2.5 - 3 hours
in length.
